Whispers From The Rift
A downloadable game for Windows
Whispers from the Rift is a psychologically immersive, choice-driven sci-fi action/horror experience. Guide a fractured man, Robert Jenkins, through a parallel but vastly different world shaped by mind control, otherworldly entities, and morally complex decisions that challenge the nature of free will.
December 21st, 2028: Robert Jenkins is tasked to lead an international mission to infiltrate an illegal Japanese weapon facility. Every step of the way, his fate is in your hands. Supplant his thoughts, direct his actions, and dictate his words. Though initially unaware of your presence in his mind, your commands carry weight while his life and sanity hang in the balance.
Whispers from the Rift is a standalone prequel set fourteen years before the events of CONSORTIUM VR / Remastered ( https://idgi1.ca/consortium ) . Prior knowledge of the Consortium universe is NOT required.
Robert Jenkins: The man you will be inhabiting. Jenkins, recommended by Colin Wheats, leads the mission. With a background in the Canadian military, he has worked intermittently for the Global Senate since the Wars. Despite feeling out of his depth, Jenkins is inexplicably drawn to this mission, even though he knows it could be suicide.
Colin Wheats: Supposedly an American-born, former Mi6 operative. He was usually found deep undercover during the Wars, but since then, he's made a home as the top Asia-Pacific specialist for the Global Senate. His ties to remaining military forces in the region give him a geopolitical advantage, leading to him spearheading this mission.
Eliska Soltz: Ex-Israeli Special Forces, specializing in recon and technological infiltration. Contracted by the Global Senate specifically for this mission and is the only member without any previous ties to the organization. She is known to be a little volatile at the best of times and is immediately suspicious of Jenkins' role in the mission.
Jiang Shi: The most mysterious team member, but also its most important. A Chinese national exiled from her homeland due to her involvement in a supposedly botched infiltration mission while working for the Global Senate. Jiang has intimate knowledge of the super-weapon in question and supposedly intends to disable it once and for all.
Philip Lancaster: On the surface, Lancaster is a political functionary who is, for all intents and purposes, the mission's wild card. Spy by nature, his true nationality is unknown, and the vast majority of information on his work has been redacted or buried. With his burly stature and happy-go-lucky personality, Lancaster has said that life is like a video game, meant to be played until all its secrets and achievements are discovered.

• Discover dozens of illustrations in the form of visual "brain scans" taken directly from Jenkins’ mind. No generative AI was used in the development of these images.
